Mount Mary's COVID safety policies remain in place for fall 2021. Here is a document of FAQs that details COVID policies and practices:

Masks must be worn inside every building. If it is your first time on campus. please come in the Caroline Hall door by the arches and get a mask and cleaning supplies. Anyone entering without a mask will be given one or be asked to leave if they do not comply.

  • Every employee and student will be provided with one washable face mask; disposable face masks will be available for visitors or those without a mask. All persons MUST wear a mask inside the campus buildings unless you are in your own office by yourself. This is imperative and must be followed strictly at all times.
  • Prospective students and their families may visit campus for safe, socially distanced events. Registration limits have been put in place to offer intimate and personalized visit experiences.
  • Mount Mary's Commitment to Community pledge, outlining the safety practices required on campus, can be found here: Mount Mary University Community Commitment_Design.pdf.

Forms & Documents

COVID SYMPTOM SCREENING FORM
All employees and students must fill out the COVID symptom screening form if exposure, symptoms, or positive test are noted. This must be done prior to arrival on campus.

VACCINE INFORMATION

REMINDERS REGARDING MOUNT MARY'S COVID-19 PROTOCOL

  • Masks:
Currently Mount Mary requires mask wearing in all indoor spaces (this means cover your nose). We had hoped that the number of quarantines would be fewer at this point, but due to the Delta variant we are still seeing several students going into quarantine. Many of these are due to not being vaccinated.
  • Exposure:
Per CDC guidelines, if you are exposed to someone with COVID and you are vaccinated but have no symptoms you do not need to quarantine. You do have to quarantine the full 14 days if you had exposure and you are not vaccinated.  See more below under ‘symptom screening form’ for additional steps related to symptoms, positive cases and exposure.
  • Testing Locations:
If you are in need of finding a testing location, go
here. Some require appointments, vehicles or walk-ins.  You can see details and call the different testing sites to have your questions answered.
  • Transportation for Testing:
If you are in need of a ride to or from testing locations, this is the
Uber link and this is the Lyft link. The Milwaukee County Transit System also operates bus routes #57 and #60 along 92nd Street and Burleigh Street that stop near Mount Mary and connect you to various parts of the city. This is the link to  MCTS.
  • Paying for Tests:
If you are getting tested for COVID, as result of an MMU request to quarantine, and there is an out-of-pocket cost that you cannot cover, please be in touch with Keri Alioto at
     aliotok@mtmary.edu

Thanks for doing your part to keep yourselves, your families and our university community safe. If you have any COVID-19 related questions please reach out to Amy Dedow; dedowa@mtmary.edu; (414) 930-3637.
